• The librarian will assist students to understand the policies and procedures of the district in terms of technology and library use.  She will reiterate how to use the Web-based library catalog, bookmark favorite sites, and set the username and password for Grolier Online.  The classroom teacher will help individual students as needed.

• Show features of the Library Catalog, including the variety of ways to search: Destiny Quest (and exit), Basic, POWER (Boolean searching and searching other libraries), Visual, Categories, Number, and Barcode searches.  Searches are possible by Keyword, Title, Author, Subject, or Series.
